World Cerebral Palsy Day

On the occasion of World Cerebral Palsy DayAmbattur Rotary Hospital, in collaboration with the Meenakshi College of Occupational TherapyMeenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), conducted a special camp for children with Cerebral Palsy today.

The camp focused on creating awareness about Cerebral Palsy and providing therapy services, and counseling for children and their families. A dedicated team of occupational therapists, faculty members, and students from MAHER actively participated, offering individualized therapy sessions and home-based rehabilitation guidance.

Parents and caregivers were given valuable insights on early intervention, therapy continuity, and supportive care to enhance the well-being and independence of children with Cerebral Palsy.

Ambattur Rotary Hospital remains committed to organizing such community-oriented programs that promote inclusive healthcare, rehabilitation awareness, and support for children with special needs
