Under the Rotary Global Grant project Amba Vision 3, Ambattur Rotary Hospital (ARH) continued its commitment to preventing avoidable blindness by providing free cataract surgeries to deserving beneficiaries.

During October 2026 alone, 195 free cataract surgeries were performed under this project, bringing the cumulative total to 1,980 surgeries up to October 2026.

This initiative provides access to essential eye care for underprivileged individuals, helping restore their vision, improve their quality of life and regain their independence without the burden of surgery expenses.

Through the Amba Vision 3 Global Grant project, Ambattur Rotary Hospital continues to make a meaningful difference in the community by bringing the gift of sight and renewed hope to those in need.
