Ambattur Rotary Hospital, supported by Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur, successfully conducted a Mega Health Camp on Saturday, 5th September 2026, at Ambattur Rotary Hospital.

The camp was organised as part of the Cancer Awareness & Screening Programme, with a focus on promoting early detection and encouraging people to take proactive steps towards their health. The programme included Oral Cancer Screening, Mammogram and Pap Smear, along with free health screening and consultations.

The camp offered a wide range of services including General Medicine, Orthopaedics, ENT, Dental, General Surgery, Dermatology, Oncology and Gynaecology, in addition to health screening such as blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse, height, weight and eye testing.

The programme received a good response from the community, with beneficiaries making use of the various screening and consultation services provided. The initiative reflected Ambattur Rotary Hospital’s continued commitment to providing accessible and preventive healthcare to the community, while spreading awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and early cancer detection.
